The Archdiocesan house Casa Maria de la Altagracia belongs to the Archdiocese of Santo Domingo of Catholic Church in the Dominican Republic. Santo Domingo, the cradle of the new evangelization of America, in the words of Pope John Paul II, is called to be in God's design, a powerful beacon of light that illuminates the world's peoples. Welcoming the call of Pope, the Archbishop of Santo Domingo, his Eminence, Nicolas de Jesus Cardinal Lopez Rodriguez, has sponsored the construction of the Casa Maria de la Altagracia as a place of welcome and encounter with God and Sacraments, and as the International Center of New Evangelization. Located at Km 17 of the Highway of the Americas, near of  the Caribbean Sea and  the airport in Santo Domingo, the Archdiocesan House Our Lady of Altagracia, is like a as a carrier of Launched legions of Apostles to all nations of the world, announcing as 500 years ago Jesus Christ as the Way, the Truth and the Life. It is also an ecumenical center, where they have room for all religious groups regardless of their Faith.
